Assassin's Creed is a historical fantasy/science fiction video game. The game is developed by Ubisoft Montreal and published by Ubisoft. It was released worldwide in November 2007 on the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 and the PC version of Assassin's Creed was released on April 8, 2008, in North America. It received generally positive reviews, although several publications such as Eurogamer, pointed out a number of significant shortcomings. Assassin's Creed has greatly outstripped Ubisoft's sales expectations and currently ranks among the top two or three best-selling games for the PlayStation 3 computer entertainment system and Xbox 360 video game, with more than two and a hal! f million units sold worldwide. On November 12, 2009, Ubisoft released Assassin's Creed II themed virtual items on PlayStation Home to promote the release of the game, as well as the game Assassin's Creed: Bloodlines for PSP. This part of the game received top scores reaching 9 of 10 by Official Xbox Magazine. Intended to be a trilogy the third part of this game Assassin’s Creed-Brotherhood was released on Tuesday 16th of November and is due for release on Microsoft Windows in Q1 2011. Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood is the first game in the main series to feature multiplayer mode. The players are Templers in training at the Abstergo facility. Multiplayer portion was generally well received by critics. This part of the game received high 10 of 10 by Eurogamer. It sounds interesting and it’s worth to try, so gamers dig in the new adventures of Ezio Auditore da Firenze and Desmond Miles.
