Study: Video games raise student math scores

There are many various types of video and other games. I think one couldn't count them up. But it is only up to you which one you will choose from these great assortment. But be careful with the choosing, because also the game can influence you and your behaviour, or those children's. Researchers from the University of Central Florida have been doing really interesting research, probably as every is. But they have detected one really good and interesting thing. They have been observing some groups of children from different school and the acting of some video games on their doing in the school. The result could cheer children and those who love gaming. According to these researchers playing interactive video games raises the pupils' math score at school. They have been doing research on the 193 students and 10 teachers from Orange County and detected, that pupils, who have been playing DimensionM during at least 18-weeks period, have got much more better results in the school, mainly in the Mathematics than those, who haven't played this game. This game is created in the way children and today young people love and it also can help them in solving some problems and brings their math score to the higher level. You can choose from two or three games, where every of them is divided to four levels or missions. Every game and every mission has got its own story and you have to act according to the rules of course. And when you want to get to the end of every mission, you have to use your brain and count, else you will never pass it, what you probably won't permit. This game could be really asset for children, young people and schools as well, because there is connection of pleasure and utility and it means better study results and children who use their brain and mind more often and in the better way. And maybe math teachers won't have to give students homeworks to compel them counting...
