Halo 3 to be released September 25th
by Corina Ciubotaru

Video game fans, prepare yourselves for some more sleepless, military strategy-filled nights: Halo 3 is coming your way with improved co-op multiplayer! Three other players will be able to join your fun and make things interesting, incarnating as a Master Chief, Arbiter or one of two new Elites named N'tho 'Sraom and Usze 'Taham. Only two players at a time can play from the same Xbox 360 unit, but you will still be able to enjoy the popular split-screen view. If you have no idea what the Halo series is, but think it might be interesting, here are some facts. Halo is a science-fiction adventure game, where a group of earthling soldiers have to defeat an evil race of aliens called The Covenant, who want to wipe out mankind. The multiplayer options evolved from only being able to act as Master Chief in the first game, to two player co-ops in Halo 2 and four player co-ops in Halo 3. The game is widely acclaimed for reviving first-person shooters, and the story, sound and little graphic details are sure to captivate even novice players. Faithful but sometimes stupid AI soldiers that accompany the Master Chief in the first game are completely replaced by human characters in the third Halo, so the game becomes more challenging with every version. If you want to save the world and become a hero in anyone's eyes, you only have to wait until September 25, 2007 and dish out at least $60 to take part in the epic battle.
